FHC : Project Data

The FHC project data dialogue provides a series of tabs which you can access and each tab provides access to different features. You can access the FHC Project Data from the Edit menu Edit -> Project Data or by using the shortcut key [Ctrl+P]

If the reference text is underlined (such as Design authority, Fluid...) then the entry into the text box or drop-down box will affect the final calculation, therefore it is important to ensure that this information is correct.  The other text boxes and drop-down boxes are for reference and will not affect the calculation

Project data

You will enter the general information for your project in to the Project Data tab.  Please remember that the information entered in the following design authority, fluid, welded elbows above and pipe type data will affect the calculation.

You can specify in the Water Supply tab a water supply curve such as a pump or city supply (town main) or FHC will calculate the source pressure and flow (minimum supply requirement).

In the Design Area tab you will specify the relevant information for your project such as the default design density and the area of operation for the system.

Head Codes

The Head Codes tab will allow you to Add and Edit heads and nozzles codes which are can then use in your FHC project

Nodes / Pipes

The Nodes / Pipes tab should only be used by advanced uses.  You can see the FHC project raw data for the pipes and heads in your project.  You should always make a backup copy of your FHC project file before you make any amendments in the Nodes / Pipes tab.
