View menu

 

When you add pipes to the system they are displayed in the drawing area in FHC, you can change the display view by using the commands on the View menu.

 

 

 

Most of the View menu commands can be access from the toolbar as shown bellow or by using the shortcut keys [F2] to [F9]

 

 

You can find which view is currently been displayed in the status bar as bellow. This is showing that the current view is an isometric view from the South West

 

 

Zoom - All Pipes

The Zoom - All Pipes command [CTRL+Z] switch the FHC drawing in to the Plan view and will allow you to use the mouse to draw a box around a section of pipes, FHC will then Zoom in on to this area. You can repeat this command until you have the level of magnification required.

 

Once you have Zoomed in you will see displayed a set of pan buttons labelled 'N', 'NE', 'SE', 'S', 'SW', 'W' and 'NW'. If the select one of the buttons the drawing will Pan over in the Zoom area in the direction selected. If you are already at the edge of the drawing area then nothing will appear to change.

 

 

Plan of system

This will Zoom out and redraw the the the system in a plan view

 

Elevation view

You can display the drawing in a 'fort' or 'side' elevation view

 

Isometric view

The following commands will change the view to one of the isometric view

 

Pipe Properties

The Pipe Properties will display a floating window with information for the selected pipe in the system the box will remain open and will always be display forward of any other window.
