FHC Calculation and options
FHC has a rich set of the commands which will allow you to calculate and optimise any type of water-based fire protection system. The flow diagram below outlines the different flow paths which are available to you.
For a standard calculation you will proceed as follows:
•Select some or all of the heads in the FHC project.
•Adjust the calculation options.
•Review the summary.

Use the head selection controls to select all, the group heads or individual heads. Read more... |

Unsized pipe options |
|
|
If any of the pipes in the system have a zero size then FHC will display the unsized pipe options dialogue. Read more... |

Optimize |
|
|
When FHC has completed the calculation (and you do not have any unsized pipes) you have the option to optimise the system by changing globally pipe sizes. Read more... |

Calculation Options |
|
|
After you select the heads before the calculation starts you will see the calculation options dialogue window this will allow you to set various parameters and warnings before the calculation starts. Read more... |

Calculation Summary |

|
