Optimise Pipe Sizes
The Optimise button will not be displayed if you have any pipes with zero pipe diameter. If this is the case then FHC will use the Auto Pipe Sizing method.
When and FHC calculation has been completed you have the option to use the optimise button which will open the optimise pipe sizes dialogue window as below.
You can select individual pipe sizes and then increase or decrease in size and the revised source duty will be displayed if you wish to revise the new pipe sizes in the system press the apply button otherwise cancel close the dialogue and return you to the calculation summary.

The pipe list will display all the different pipe sizes which you have added to the FHC project you can use your mouse to select which pipe size you would like to increase or decrease in size. |

Revised source duty |
|
|
As you increase or decrease any pipe size, FHC will automatically recalculate the system and display the revised source duty |

|
|
|
Apply Button |
|
|
If you have revised the pipe sizes and wish to retain these revised pipe sizes then press the apply button |
|
|
|
|
|
Cancel Button |
|
|
The cancel button will return you to the calculation summary with out making any amendments to the pipe sizes. |
