Auto Node & Node Increment


FHC uses node numbers as identifies for each junction point in the system or turn such as an elbow or bend. Node numbers can range from 1 to 9950 and the first node number is always at the water source.

 

We would recommend that you use the automatic Node numbering system, to switch this on go to the Tools menu and insure Auto Node has a tick to the left, next you can select the node increment number which is set to 10 below.       

 

 

 

Show Path


This command will display a dialog box with the full file path to the currently open FHC project file.

 

 

If you press the 'Yes' button FHC will open the windows folder where the FHC project is located and you will find it on the windows toolbar.  

 

 

Open folder


This command will display a dialog box as bellow which will show the full file path to the open FHC project file. If you press the Yes button FHC will open the Windows File Explorer.

 

 

 

 

Delete backup files


This command will delete all the backup file files with the file prefix BAK and TMP in the current project folder.

 

 

 

 

 

Toolbar reset


If the icons on the toolbar become rearranged this function will reset them to the default settings as below. 

 

 

 

Auto Save


FHC automatically saves the current FHC project after making several changes, such as Add/Edit pipes, copy pipes est. You can use this command to switch off the automatic save function.
